Brian qualified from U.C.D. in 1989 and has always worked in a mixed practice. Brian leads
our Large animal team and loves all medical & surgical components in Large animal. Brian
also has a great interest in small animal and has 2 of his own dogs at home that regularly
drop in for a visit. Brian oversees all our large aniaml herd health programmes.
Caroline joined the Veterinary hospital in 2009 and works in reception. Caroline loves the
buzz of working in a busy office and shop. In her spare time she like to spend it baking with
her daughter at home and walking her dogs.
TB Assistant & Receptionist
Chris joined the Veterinary Hospital in 2005 and is out most days with our vets TB testing. Chris
loves horse riding and in her spare time loves looking after her horses and playing with her
Dayna joined the Veterinary Hospital in 2012 and also qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2012.
Dayna loves the daily challenges of working in a busy hospital and dealing with the clients. In
her spare time she enjoys playing polocrosst, football and camogie (for relaxation !!)
John graduated in 1995 and joined the Veterinary hospital in 2003. John is a local man and originates from Barntown. John has a love of all animals in particular horses. In his spare time you can often see John at all the local races horses and greyhounds.
Kara qualified from college in 2014 and started working for us in November 2014. Kara’s priority is the welfare of animals and this can be seen in the care and kindness she gives to each individual animal that comes through the doors of the clinic. Kara currently lives with her boyfriend in Forth Mountain with her 2 dogs Elsa & Lola.
Lynn joined the Veterinary hospital in 2003, she qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008. Lynn
is our Head nurse at the hospital and in her spare time loves horse riding and listening to
Martin Breen, graduated from U.C.D. in 2013 and loves working with
large & small animals. Having a previous degree in Animal science Martin has a special
intrest in Animal care & welfare, & loves meeting new clients and their pets.
Michelle joined the practice in 1993 and loves the challenges of running a busy practice.
Michelle loves all aspects of the Veterinary hospital and finds her “work is her Joy”, she loves
to unwind at home with her family and pets and lives on a farm with her husband Anthony.
